Cher Membre, dear ALCO member,
[english text below]

 Dear ALCO member,

The Round Table Working Group has the pleasure of inviting you to a new lunch meeting on « Compliance and acceptance & marketing of new products & services ». It might be of interest for Compliance Officers of all sectors (banking, insurance, funds, as well as of other financial players).

The discussion will be about the usefulness to formalise a validation process specific to certain arts of products and services. About the role of a new product acceptance committee. About the persons expected to have a seat there. How such a committee might be organised. In which cases should new products/services obtain a preliminary formal validation? Which products should benefit from a follow up by such committee? Which is the role of the Compliance officer in this matter and in what scope of intervention? The expert who will help us finding our way through these different questions will be Mr Tim Geyens.

We will meet on Tuesday 29th June from 12:00 to 1:45 pm in the ABBL room of the Invik Building (basement), 2-4 avenue Marie-Thérèse (at the corner with Boulevard Royal). Sandwiches will be provided. The discussions will be held in French and in English. This means that participants are expected to understand both but can chose express themselves in the tongue they prefer.

We thank you for letting us know your interest in participating by replying as soon as possible by mail to charles.van-doorslaer@kbl-bank.com and preferably not later than the 21st of June, with your answers to enclosed questionnaire, who will as usual be treated in a fully confidential way. Questionnaires of persons that cannot attend the meeting are, of course, very welcome too. Feed back of the enquiry will be made available. Taking into consideration the limited number of available seats for this session, we invite you to confirm your interest as soon as possible!

We look forward to meeting you ! Cordialement !

Pour le GT 34 "Tables Rondes" - on behalf of the ALCO Round Table Working Group
