La crise financière de 2008 a secoué la place financière et le monde politique luxembourgeois. Monsieur Laurent Moyse, journaliste-économiste, a réussi à faire témoigner les protagonistes de cette crise devant la caméra. Il s’agit notamment des Ministres du budget et de l’économie de l’époque (Luc Frieden et Jeannot Krecké), des Présidents des banques systémiques qui se trouvaient au bord de la faillite (Carlo Thill, BGL et Frank Wagener, Dexia-BIL), du Président de la BCL (Yves Mersch) et du CEO de l’ABBL (Jean-Jacques Rommes). Le Professeur en droit financier à l’Université de Luxembourg depuis 2007, Pierre-Henri Conac, présente sa vue de juriste.
Les moments forts de ces interviews sont intégrés dans le film documentaire « Crise et Chuchotements », sorti au Luxembourg City Film Festival et salué par le public (score de 8,2 / 10 sur IMDB).
Monsieur Laurent Moyse a accepté de partager avec nous ses expériences personnelles lors de la réalisation du film. Nous aurons l’opportunité d’échanger avec lui sur comment l’analyse de la crise de 2008 est pertinente pour la situation actuelle de notre place financière et de sa réglementation. Monsieur Jossy Mayor, producteur et coréalisateur, se joindra à nous pour introduire le film. La soirée amicale se conclura par un cocktail dînatoire.
